The P4P king Canelo Alvarez and his trainer Eddy Reynoso have recently received warm appreciation from an anti-cancer organization in Mexico for their active initiative in eradicating the deadly disease. Having held the undisputed super-middleweight championship in November, Alvarez is currently relishing a much-needed layoff.
He shall return to action by mid-2022 and is using this hiatus for social welfare causes. After grabbing a lot of attention for his in-ring prowess, Alvarez donated 600 vincristine, a chemotherapy drug, in two hospitals in Mexico. This isn’t the first time Alvarez has done something like this.
He donated $1 million to Nariz Roza AC, a children’s treatment organization a few weeks back. His recent donation of Vincristine has also come in the wake of Nariz Roza’s welfare acts.

His rags to riches story and active aid to human welfare have been two of the prime causes behind all the love he receives. Meanwhile, Canelo Alvarez’s stark progress in the boxing landscape is also the reason he remains at the top of the combat chain all the time.
