The school shooting incident in Uvalde, Texas shocked the world recently. While several notable personas expressed their condolences for the demise of the school children and teachers, the Mexican boxing champion Canelo Alvarez opened up about the incident and sent his sincere message to the victims as well.

On Tuesday, a teenage gunman walked into the campus of Robb Elementary School, Uvalde, Texas. Having entered the premise, he openly fired at students, teachers, and staff members present inside the busy institution. In a disheartening update, the gunman, recognized as Salvador Ramos, took the lives of twenty-one innocent beings leaving their families and the rest of the world in an absolute shatter.

The incident marks one of the deadliest school shootings in America and raises inescapable questions regarding the nation’s active gun laws.Those innocent children who lost their lives were between the age of only seven and ten. Today, the rest of the world alongside America mourns this irreplaceable loss. As soon as the news broke in, several public figures took to social media and expressed their thoughts.

Canelo Alvarez joins hands and sends his prayers to Uvalde, Texas

As soon as the heartbreaking news broke in, several known figures belonging to boxing wrote on their social media handles. Amanda Serrano, Ryan Garcia, Jake Paul, and also Lou DiBella took to Twitter and expressed their thoughts. Mexican fighter Canelo Alvarez, who recently fought Dmitry Bivol for the light heavyweight title, also broke his silence on the matter.

On his Instagram story, Saul Alvarez pens a sincere message, offering his prayers to the victims, affected families, and the community in Uvalde, Texas. He first wrote the message in his mother tongue, Spanish and then in English. What he wrote in English reads like this:
