Around three years ago, Canelo Alvarez welcomed Graham Bensinger into his home for an exclusive interview, offering a rare glimpse of his stunning car collection. The fleet of luxury vehicles, typically kept in storage and only driven when necessary, served more than just a personal passion for Canelo. During the interview, he revealed that showcasing his collection was a way to inspire others, motivating them to pursue success as he has, despite his humble beginnings.

As a child, Canelo Alvarez sold ice cream on the streets and in buses, but today, he’s a multi-millionaire with a luxury lifestyle to match. Pointing to his sleek black Rolls Royce Ghost, valued between $300,000 and $322,000, Canelo made an interesting admission during the interview: he never drives it. “I never drive, I always sit back,” he explained, emphasizing his preference for being chauffeured rather than taking the wheel of his extravagant ride.

Canelo Alvarez’s car collection

To put Canelo’s career in the sport of boxing into perspective, his success isn’t just reflected in the many belts he holds, it’s also quite evident from his collection of cars—which anyone would take over a belt. Given the choice of cars, he especially seems to love speed, luxury, and exclusivity, which was made possible because of his deep purse. 

According to various sources, Canelo Alvarez has twelve cars alone in his garage at his primary residence. However, the Ferrari Testarossa always stands out from others. This 1980s icon, known for its sharp lines and wide rear end, is powered by a 4.9L flat-12 engine, allowing it to hit 60 mph in just over 5 seconds. Its timeless design and nostalgic appeal make it a special part of his garage. 

While the Testarossa is old, this next one isn’t. He also owns the Ferrari LaFerrari, which is a hybrid masterpiece valued at around $2 million. Combining a V12 engine with electric power, the LaFerrari boasts 949 horsepower and can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 2.4 seconds. With a top speed exceeding 220 mph, this car symbolizes Canelo’s desire to push boundaries—both on the road and in the ring.

Stepping away from the speedsters for a bit, Canelo also has the Ferrari Purosangue in his car collection. Interestingly, this was Ferrari’s first four-door, four-seater SUV. With its V12 engine producing 715 horsepower, the Purosangue delivers speed and practicality, perfect for when Canelo needs both room and performance.

Then there is the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, which basically symbolizes Canelo’s power and performance. With a V12 engine pushing 770 horsepower, the Aventador SVJ accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds.

Canelo also has the Lamborghini Urus to add versatility to his collection. The car is the first-ever Super Sport Utility Vehicle. The Urus combines speed with luxury, boasting a V8 engine that accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds. 

There’s, of course, the Rolls Royce Ghost, which adds the ultimate luxury and elegance to his collection. This ultra-luxurious sedan is reserved for special occasions, offering a smooth and quiet ride fit for a champion. 

While these were the ones that especially stood out in his collection, Canelo also has Bugatti Chiron, McLaren P1, Ford Mustang, Shelby Mercedes AMG G63, Nissan GT-R, and Tesla Model X in his garage. Not to mention he also has two other Ferraris, which are the Ferrari 488 Pista, and Ferrari 458 Italia.
