The four-weight division champ Canelo Alvarez has successfully entered Forbes’s top-ten highest-paid athlete list. Despite his loss against Dmitry Bivol, the Mexican star left behind the wealthiest boxer of all times, Floyd Mayweather.
According to Forbes, the pound-for-pound king made a massive payday in a row to crown the undisputed super-middleweight title. The 31-year-old is certainly boxing’s biggest draw. His fights made record pay-per-view sales the previous year. This improved his position as the highest-paid athlete.
