Canelo Alvarez is an absolute star in the boxing space. In 2021, the p4p king witnessed an immaculate run as he became the undisputed super-middleweight champion. With that, he became the first man in history to hold all the 168-pound titles. Also, Alvarez remained super-active last year and now he’s enjoying some time off the ring.
That said, Canelo isn’t sitting at home as he’s gearing up for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament. Alvarez recently took it to social media to detail his keenness for this tournament.
“Getting ready for @attproam 2 days to go,” he wrote.

Canelo Alvarez was inclined towards this sport during the pandemic. In no time, this leisure activity became his favorite and now the Mexican star is ready to test himself on a terrific level. In total, Canelo participated in two celebrity golf tournaments. Moreover, he even bagged top honors in the 2021 BMW Charity Pro-Am tournament last year.
With his recent participation in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament, Canelo added himself to the list of elites like Andy Garcia.
Garcia is an avid follower of golf and he also won a PGA tour. Alongside him, there are many Hollywood biggies who absolutely love this sport. Some of those names include Dennis Quaid, Thomas Gibson, Kevin Dillon, and more.

When will Canelo Alvarez come back to the ring?
After a hectic boxing run in 2021, Canelo might look to fight a couple of times this year.

There’s no clarity on his return, but May 2022 might be the timeline for Alvarez’s first fight of this year.
