Concerns over Mike Tyson‘s well-being following the medical emergency he faced a few days ago appear to have become louder. They seem to have gained strength against the backdrop of the upcoming fight with Jake Paul. ‘Iron’ Mike and ‘The Problem Child’ will clash for a non-title eight-round bout on July 20. Tyson’s mid-aide health alarm might have also sparked rumors, putting into question the fate of the fight. Both Tyson and Paul took up the cudgels to allay any fears. In their own ways, the duo explained that the fight is very much on. But then there are a few voices who appear quite agitated and alarmed.

Especially after the recent incident, they have been vehemently presenting their case, strongly objecting to the match taking place. One of the strongest voices of dissent appears to be that of Michael Bisping. Piece by piece, the former UFC middleweight champion shared an argument as to why the fight should not take place. But more significantly, he lashed out against Jake Paul, who has been building his legacy by fighting opponents far older than his age.

It is absolutely embarrassing; it’s a shame; it’s a sham,” said Michael Bisping. According to him, on the whole, the situation appears very awkward. Despite being in his prime, Jake Paul continues to cherry-pick his opponents. All for building a solid resume to impress everyone.

He added further, “(Jake Paul) claims to be a fighter, talks about fighting Canelo and all these people, and calling out proper fighters that are way past their prime. Fighting Anderson Silva fighting Tyrone Woodley when the fight had left him a long time before, fighting Ben Askren. A man that’s never thrown a punch in his life, started his career beating up a basketballer.

‘The Problem Child’ could be credited with beating Anderson Silva. But the fact remains that ‘Spider’ was nearing 50 when he and Paul fought, said ‘The Count’. But later, when it was his turn to fight a proper boxer in Tommy Fury, Jake Paul suffered a setback. So the former UFC middleweight champion shared that the age of Paul’s opponents has been on the increase, to the point where he is now fighting a man who will be 60 in another two years.

Instead of the competition getting a bit younger and actually being boxers, they’re getting older; they’re getting way older; they’re pushing 60, and they can’t even make it to LAX; they can’t even make it on a short flight without paramedics coming on and carting them off,” he summarized.

Michael Bisping, like many, still believes that ‘Iron’ Mike has the wherewithal to knock the daylights out of ‘The Problem Child’. He could pose a serious threat to the Ohioan during the first few rounds.

Earlier, he shared that the major controversy surrounding the Tyson-Paul fight relates to the former’s age. Hence, the former heavyweight champion meeting with such an unfortunate incident as the mid-flight one appears worrisome. Clarifying his thoughts, he shared that he loves listening to Mike Tyson. But close observation will reveal that the latter speaks just like any old man does.

According to Bisping, logic dictates that if, on account of his advancing age, Tyson becomes a bit more deliberate, then it reflects very much on his physical activity as well. So inside the ring, he would throw punches at a much slower speed than he once used to in his prime. Likewise, his capacity to absorb hits would have gone down as well. However, it is exactly the opposite for Jake Paul.
