To emphasize his message, Garcia also declared that he would “destroy” ‘The Dream’. In this context, being asked if he would retire following a potential loss against Haney, Garcia even said, “I give you my word.” But, while Garcia is confident about his victory, Caleb Plant feels otherwise.

On being asked if Ryan Garcia could win against Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis [in a rematch], Plant said, “I don’t know. I don’t think Ryan can beat either of them. So, I don’t think he’s going to beat Dev. I don’t think he would beat ‘Tank’ either.” However, Plant said he was excited about Garcia vs. Haney. But, he stated Haney was head and shoulders above ‘KingRy’. “You know Dev is a great fighter. He’s a disciplined fighter. He’s got a great team around him. And as you can see, he’s a focused fighter as well,” Plant told Fight Hub TV.
