“Couldn’t get it done, couldn’t get it done, and we’re six and a half weeks away from the fight and neither one of us had been drug tested once. Now if I was King of the Hill, couldn’t nobody fight me without drug testing for twelve weeks. But he made the people about drug testing one time.”

“Why not? If you’re the king of the hill, people might try to come at you sideways. So why not be vocal about it, why not get people to want to step up and do that, you got the power to do that.”

Caleb ‘Sweethands’ Plant feels boxers should get drug tests more frequently. While he also said that fighters who use PEDs (Performance-Enhancing Drugs) do it out of fear to hide their insecurities.

Despite the fearless attitude of Plant, he has never faced an opponent of Canelo Alvarez’s caliber. Alvarez has constantly fought the best, dethroning champs and beating undefeated boxers constantly.

Many fans and experts regard Plant’s title reign as somewhat lackluster, having not fought any real competition. Alvarez will be his first real test. Do you think Caleb Plant will be able to pull off the upset? Or will Mexico receive their first-ever undisputed champion?
