Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant’s fight is the only bout that the fans await at the super-middleweight landscape. The duo will enter a gigantic 12-round showdown for all the 168-pound titles on the line. That said, there is genuine hype behind this contest and everyone is keeping their fingers crossed to see this tussle come to life.

Despite this contest having no official date and location, the IBF champ, Caleb Plant, has kicked off minute preparations. He’s also looped in the retired pugilist Andre Ward for his training.

Recently, Michael Benson shared a string of images on his Twitter. Here, Ward is seen giving some valuable lessons to ‘Sweethands’ who is all charged up.

Plant has enjoyed an undefeated career in the sport until now. But his upcoming opponent, Canelo, has crucified many undefeated opponents in the past. In his last fight too, the Mexican fighter hammered the British boxing stalwart, Billy Joe Saunders.

This was Alvarez’s biggest win in the super-middleweight division, and with that, he showed why he can be an absolute demolisher. Citing that, Plant is in for a stern challenge if he wishes to remain undefeated.

Although undefeated, Plant will still walk in as an underdog for his fight against Canelo. This is because the latter’s track record is out of the box. That said, while Alvarez will storm into the ring with a composed mindset, Plant will be under extreme pressure for this encounter.
