In a surprising statement, a recent study has claimed that Bruce Lee, world famous for his action films, died because of drinking excessive water. Lee passed away on 20th July 1973, prior to the release of Enter the Dragon, the most successful movie of his career. The martial artist, who founded the art of Jeet Kune Do, developed and preached the philosophy of becoming water when it came to the arts involving fights.

Contrary to his words, the new study has laid an absurd claim to demonstrate the cause of Bruce Lee’s death. According to the new study, drinking too much water, unfortunately, resulted in the “kidney’s inability to excrete excess water.” While drinking excessive water may have caused Bruce Lee his death, it has so far helped legendary boxer Mike Tyson, retain his shape since he retired from pro boxing.

In an interview, on being asked how he maintained his good shape, the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ said, “No fried foods. Pretty much no red meat. Lots of water.”

According to the December 2022 edition of the Clinical Kidney Journal, Lee’s brain weighed half a pound extra than what the average human brain usually weighed. This led them to assert that Lee had a very low sodium concentration in his blood.

According to the study, Lee would exhibit the risk factors that belonged to hyponatraemia. Lee, who already carried a very low sodium concentration in his blood, worsened his situation by means of “chronic fluid intake”. As per the study, the star passed away because of kidney dysfunction that failed to excrete enough water to maintain water homeostasis in his body.
