Ever since the fight was announced, it has sent a wave of tremors down the boxing realm. The promo for the fight mirrored just that. One of the most cash-heavy fights of the year, Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou has its own definition today. For a WBC title holder like Tyson to fight UFC fame, Ngannou who has never entered the ring before, of course, shocks were to be felt. The trailer encapsulated that. And it hit the bulls-eye.

After its stellar success, Tyson Fury has come out to speak about how the promotions company spared no expenses in making this attention-grabbing video. He said, “They brought in some of the best production team in the world and all the right people, Oscar-winning dress people and everything so. No expenses were spared and they brought in the best.”

The budget met the expectations, and so did the results. Adding about how the response has been overwhelming, the fighter said, “And you get the results and to get over 200 million views in the first week was absolutely astronomical figures. And it shows what you put out there you get back. And they definitely spend a lot of money on the production and they get the results.”

Mike Tyson joins promotions

“You wish for a little more action?” asked Mike Tyson at the beginning of the recent trailer released by Top Rank Boxing. This new promo aligns itself with what the boxing realm has been expecting from the heavyweight class this year, “a little more action” and Tyson grants that. The video depicts the journey of the matchup from its inception till when the gong will off on fight night. Through the roller coaster of trippy amusement to the big clash, the promo is a befitting metaphor for what the fight has to offer.

In the months leading to the fight, major eyebrows were raised, when legendary boxer, Mike Tyson brought his name to the matchup. He announced to the world that he would be joining the French-Cameroonian fighter, Ngannou’s training camp in order to prepare him for his clash against Fury. Furthermore, with just days left for the showdown, ‘Iron Mike’ has also joined the efforts of promoting it.

The upcoming bout will not have Fury’s title on the line. But it will follow all of the championship rules. The major criticism that has come his way is that Fury chose money over a fight against another champion, Oleksandr Usyk.
