Devin Haney last entered the ring on the 20th of May against Vasyl Lomachenko. He won by a unanimous decision but still, there have been calls for a rematch. Despite retaining his status as the undisputed Lightweight champion, Haney received immense criticism. He was also met with a fine of $400,000. ‘The Dream’ Haney has however agreed to a rematch and clarified that he never said he would not take one in the first place. It was his father in fact who said so.

Amidst these developments, there were reports of him going against Shakur Stevenson. Even those seem to have collapsed given Shakur is not happy with the deal he has received. The deal was 75-25 in favor of Haney. It is still very uncertain as to who will be Haney’s next opponent. Recently, Eddie Hearn took a deal from Haney’s team to have him fight Regis Prograis.

Recently in an interview with The Danza Project, Devin revealed that his biggest fight would be against Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. He added that it is the next match he wants to fight. Will the fight even come through is something that his promoter has to figure out. However, fans seem to have an opinion if indeed the fight goes down.
