With Jake Paul heading towards a new fight, Drake has a new entity to bet his money on. In February when ‘The Problem Child’ faced Tommy Fury, the “Weston Road Flows” hitmaker placed $400,000 on Jake Paul. Unfortunately, Paul lost to Fury and likewise, Drake lost his bet. However, now that Paul stages his comeback against Nate Diaz, Drake has switched teams.

Following his loss to Tommy Fury, Paul is ready to square off against yet another retired MMA fighter inside the boxing ring. Considering that, while a number of people felt ‘The Problem Child’ was the closest to winning, Drake has taken Nate Diaz’s side. While the 5-time Grammy winner called Jake Paul a “dog“, he referred to Nate Diaz as his brother and declared he would not bet against the same.

To avoid running through the 6 literally with his woes, Drake places a $250,000 bet on Nate Diaz

In his song “Keep the Family Close”, Drake said, “If I ever loved you, I’ll always love you, that’s how I was raised“. Almost reiterating that statement, in one of his Instagram stories, Drake declared, “I can never bet against a Diaz brother, that’s just how I was raised“. On the other hand, Paul upset Drake last time, and it is reasonable enough to state that the rapper doesn’t wish to run through the 6 with his woes again. As per Drake’s post, should Diaz win the fight, he would win $1 Million.

According to one fan, “Bro [Drake] switched teams after Tommy [Fury] battered him“.

Meanwhile, one said, “Congrats to Jake Paul on the W“.

On the other hand, one wrote, “Excited for the highlights lol because I sure wasn’t paying for the paper view.”
