Anthony Joshua is already rearing to go. The British boxer, who dismantled Francis Ngannou recently, is hitting the gym to ensure he leaves the arena as a champion the next time he fights. But are there glimpses of whether he can finally overcome Oleksandr Usyk after two failed attempts? Has he what it takes to stand tall against Tyson Fury in the Battle of Britain?

‘AJ’s latest training clip might have the answers some are looking for. He is breaking a sweat in the training, honing his skills, and ensuring he works on his combinations right. The clip has left fans in awe, who have lauded the heavyweight boxer and are already predicting a KO victory for him. But what did the fans see that compelled them to shower praise on Joshua?

In a recently uploaded training clip on Fight Hub TV, the former heavyweight champion exhibited his explosive training regime. He was quick with his hands and could be seen working on combinations. In the initial clip, the fans could witness Joshua landing a right and left, getting below the punching arm of the sparring partner, and hitting with a right body shot.

Another combination was a right, left body shot, and a left hook to the chin, which made his partner stumble back as he reeled from the effects of Joshua’s power shows. So, it seems the Watford native is banking on his combinations to catch his opponent off-guard and then finish the fight. The fans shared similar sentiments as they flooded the comment section of the YouTube clip.

‘AJ’ sways the fans with his combinations

One fan predicted that Joshua would knock out his next opponent. They wrote, “Bro is knocking out whoever is next.” Notably, the 34-year-old has finished his last 3 fights with a KO. A similar fate may await either ‘The Gypsy King’ or Usyk.

While someone declared Joshua was “too good, a user believed “King is back.” Similarly, another fan admired Joshua’s discipline and announced that “His discipline has improved.”

Interestingly, one comment read, Fury had the same coach lol.” Joshua has recently switched to Ben Davison, a notable boxing coach who once trained Fury. Joshua first fought under Davison for the Otto Wallin fight in December and produced a splendid KO.

However, one fan pointed out, “No defense, just open for easy counters.”

Lastly, someone suggested, “Parker vs Joshua is the fight to make. Winner can fight the winner of Fury Usyk.” But Joshua has already handed a defeat to Joseph Parker back in 2018.

It remains to be seen when Joshua could face the winner of Usyk vs. Fury. Frank Warren, Fury’s promoter, believes it might be next March if Fury emerges as the victor after the bout and a subsequent rematch settles the contest for good.
