“Bro Couldn’t Beat a Tiktoker”: Fans Slam Deji for Claiming That He Will Definitely Beat Jake Paul in a Rematch

Jake Paul and Deji began their boxing journey with ‘each other’, Paul was the first opponent of Deji and vice-versa. After their first fight, Paul’s road led him to face professional boxer Tommy Fury while Deji went on to face the legend Floyd Mayweather Jr., in an exhibition bout in Saudi Arabia. Both of them have been making a name for themselves, and even currently, both influencer boxers have their next fight lined up. Deji will be facing British rapper Swarmz in a boxing fight on May 13th, 2023. And on the other side, Jake Paul is scheduled to go against former UFC fighter Nate Diaz on August 5th, 2023.

Recently, Deji has claimed that he wants to fight Paul again in his current state. Back in 2018, Jake Paul stopped Deji in the fifth round and both of them were fighting on their elder brothers’ undercard, Logan Paul and KSI respectively. But now Deji believes that he can take on Paul.

“I need to obviously prove myself to myself and prove to other people that I can fight. I am there to fight Jake Paul, I can beat him,” stated Deji. Prior to this, even before he took on Mayweather, Deji demanded a rematch with Jake Paul. But this time, the fans didn’t take the statements of the influencer boxer lightly and questioned his beliefs on this matter.

Fans react to Deji talking about beating Jake Paul

One user couldn’t agree with Deji, because of his past record. He pointed out how he couldn’t beat the famous Tiktoker Vinnie Hacker. They wrote, “Bro couldn’t beat a tiktoker what makes him think he gonna beat jake Paul“.

Another user pointed out that Deji Olatunji has only won one fight, against YouTuber FouseyTube. They wrote, “Bro has one win over Fousey and thinks he’s good. Swarmz been training for 3 months and is in better shape than him“.

One user reminded Deji of his record. “You’re 1-4 Deji,” they wrote. Meanwhile, Nick Garcia-Rhodes talked about how different Paul would be if Deji managed to defeat him back in 2018. They wrote, “Bro if deji beat him all those years back, Jake would be a totally different human being“.

Kyle wrote, “I believe Deji is probably at a similar technical level as Jake but jake has the experience over Deji with hard fights“. Lastly, Jayden really emphasized Deji vs. Jake Paul II. They wrote, “WE NEED THAT REMATCH“.
