Boxing will be one of the very few sports to allow fan-attendance, when Gervonta Davis and Leo Santa Cruz will lock horns against each other on October 31. That said, all the follow-up contests are also expected to witness the same.

There are several blockbusters fights on the charts at this point. One of them being the lightweight title fight between Ryan Garcia and Luke Campbell. After demanding a final date for a long time, it seems that ‘Golden Boy’ has finally been blessed with one. He will return to action in December at a yet to be decided location.

Meanwhile, the news has already sent the fight fans into a frenzy. Considering that it will be held amid fans, combat experts predict a record-breaking ticket sale for it. While several fans are waiting for the tickets to be sold, MMA fighter Dillon Danis wants to be the first one to buy them.

Dillon Danis is ready for Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell

MMA journalist Ariel Helwani had an interesting piece of news to share for the fans. He recently took to Twitter and announced that Garcia vs Campbell is unofficially booked for December 12.  However, Garcia has taken to Instagram and said that he is fighting Campbell on December 5, a week prior to Helwani’s reported date.

The surprise element was Dillon Danis’ desire for the tickets. Although the MMA star hasn’t clarified it, Helwani’s tweet is sufficient to thrill the fans. In the past, Danis has also called out Ryan Garcia several times on social media. Thus, it might be just another publicity stunner to jump into the mix.

‘Golden Boy’ Garcia and ‘Cool Hand’ Campbell will fight for the WBC interim lightweight title. The winner of the fight will be the mandatory challenger for the Devin Haney’s WBC lightweight title.

Lightweight champion Haney will defend his title against Yuriorkis Gamboa on November 7, 2020. If he successfully defends the title, and Garcia beats Campbell, the fight for the ages will be on the cards.
