Therefore, the fight is still in the air with a new date. Yet one cannot confirm it right away, considering its history.
Daniel Dubois vs Joe Joyce will happen this year
Speaking with BT Sport, Warren said that he is eager to host the event soon. While both boxers are also ready to go against each other, Warren just needs to finalize the date.
Talking about it, Warren said, “We are going to do it behind the closed doors.”
However, the surprise element was Frank Warren billing the contest as the second biggest heavyweight thriller after Fury vs Joshua.
It is no surprise that Dubois and Joyce are two of the most looming undefeated heavyweights in boxing. Yet they have a long way to go in the sport. Well, Warren has already given them the spot, citing their upcoming matchup as a blockbuster event for the fans.
“It’s the biggest heavyweight fight, other than Tyson and AJ,” said Warren.
