It’s been a week since the infamous Chris Rock and Will Smith incident. However, the ghosts of the controversy show no sign of subsiding. WBA (Super) welterweight champion Yordenis Ugas recently took to twitter to talk about Will Smith’s behavior at the Oscars.
Bad to see Smith behave like this. I have Alopecia and any idiot who makes fun of the fact that I don't have eyebrows I'm going to beat him up. Imagine. There is no justification for violence and more in that scenario. When you are a public figure you have to be above any joke. pic.twitter.com/Udkre6L6OC

Ugas has a special message for Jada Pinkett Smith
Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett suffers from Alopecia. Chris Rock had apparently made fun of Jada’s hairdo which led to the now viral incident.
Similarly, Yordenis Ugas also suffers from the same condition.
My thoughts and prayers to everyone who is battling a condition, illness, and especially alopecia. It doesn't matter how it looks. The greatest strength comes from within. We have to keep fighting for our dreams and goals. #ThankGod #SpenceUgas #54milagros #teamugas pic.twitter.com/eFfDqiVBZ4

Ugas had made a tweet two weeks before the incident, showing his support to people suffering from alopecia. He said, “My thoughts and prayers to everyone who is battling a condition, illness, and especially alopecia. “
He further added that the strength comes from within, and not from appearance.
A few weeks ago I made this post encouraging all the people (brothers) who fight against alopecia. This message was also for Will Smith's wife even though she doesn't know her. I am here to motivate you and help you build a high and strong self-esteem. https://t.co/FpP6Tu0WKd

They have made fun of me all my life because of my way of speaking, because of my alopecia and after I grew up I have never given a thumbs up to any idiot who has tried to make fun of me. Defending the right of the Cuban family to be able to speak and think freely.
