Michael Benson revealed that Hitchins and Lemos will square off on April 6 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in a final eliminator. The winner will then face the IBF champion, Subriel Matias, this year. Notably, Hitchins was previously in negotiations with Jack Catterall, but the purse bid was canceled last Thursday. He now has to contend with the undefeated Argentine sensation, Lemos.

In addition, Diego Pacheco, at 20-0, will try to dismantle Shawn McCalman, at 15-0, in a super middleweight clash and extend his win streak to nine. Meanwhile, the AO Arena in Manchester will welcome Jordan Gill, at 28-2-1, and Zelfa Barrett, at 30-2, on April 13. The venue will also see a world title fight as Rhiannon Dixon, at 9-0, will exchange blows with Karen Elizabeth Carabajal, at 21-1, for the vacant WBO 140-pound crown.

Rumors of Subriel Matias vs. Gervonta Davis shunned down

While Matias will know his mandatory for the IBF crown soon, he is on the lookout for an ideal opponent next. Since then, talks of the 20-1 record holder fighting against Gervonta Davis have gained traction. But those recently received a reality check.
