During his recent visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the Tyson FuryFrancis Ngannou fight, Manny Pacquiao expressed his willingness to face Gervonta Davis. However, this can only happen if Pacquiao decides to come out of retirement. When asked about a potential matchup with Davis, Pacquiao confidently replied, “Absolutely.” However, there has been no confirmation from Davis’ team as of yet.

Well, the MP Promotions CEO Sean Gibbons has further talked about this bout and given fans some hope about the prospect of this showdown. Furthermore, he stated that Pacquiao is also in talks with Turki Alalshikh trying to get a fight either with Conor McGregor or a rematch with Floyd Mayweather.

Manny Pacquiao hasn’t stepped into the boxing ring since his August 2021 loss to Yordenis Ugas. The 44-year-old legend continues to explore various plans within the realm of boxing. Among these plans looms the possibility of a bout with the formidable Gervonta Davis. The Manny Pacquiao Promotions CEO Sean Gibbons has recently broken the silence about the anticipated match-up.

He told Betway, “Manny and Gervonta Davis match up really well and that would be a fun fight. It’s a matter of being able to make the fight and that’s the difficult part. To close out his career in Saudi, it makes so much sense because they love him in that area so we will keep focusing on that first and we will see what comes up.

Sean Gibbons emphasized Manny Pacquiao’s mindset about age, asserting that the boxing icon views it merely as a number. Despite being 44 years old, Pacquiao continues to operate at peak fitness. Gibbons revealed that Pacquiao has commenced his training camp in his hometown, gearing up for the April 20th exhibition fight scheduled to take place in Thailand. He looks forward to a lot of meaningful bouts. Well, if this doesn’t work out, Pacquiao also has other fights lined up for himself in the upcoming year.

Among various speculations is the possibility of a December exhibition match against Floyd Mayweather. The discussions are even pointing to venues in Japan or even a farewell Showtime boxing broadcast on December 9. While the veracity of these rumors remains uncertain, they contribute to the ongoing narrative of Pacquiao’s post-retirement endeavors. Even Conor McGregor is in the queue of possibilities for Pacquiao.

In discussions about Manny Pacquiao’s potential fights, Sean Gibbons, President of MP Promotions, expressed enthusiasm about the prospect of concluding Pacquiao’s illustrious career in Saudi Arabia. Gibbons sees Saudi Arabia as an ideal location for Pacquiao’s farewell bout, citing the boxer’s long-standing desire to compete in the Middle East. He further stated, “Conor McGregor has said he is fighting in the UFC in June so there’s nothing happening at all there, but it can be revisited alongside Floyd Mayweather.

Furthermore, he stated, “They are fights he could do at 100 years old, off the couch with ease.” Besides this, Pacquiao was also thinking about participating in the upcoming Olympics, so it’s to be seen what route ‘PacMan’ will take for himself in 2024.
