The youngest undisputed champion in boxing’s history, Gabriela Fundora, is now all set for her first undisputed title defense at flyweight against Marilyn Badillo. Headlining an event for the first time in her career, the Sweet Poison’s opponent is the No.1 ranked contender on the IBF rankings. Making the bout even tougher is the fact that her opponent is undefeated with 19 wins, four more than her. So, in no way is her first undisputed title defense an easy prospect.
But if you thought the Florida native and her Mexican opponent were the only good parts of this Golden Boy Promotions-Sampson Boxing event, think again. Making an appearance is the 2016 Olympian Charles Conwell. So while you wait for the showdown, here’s everything you need to know about the event’s date, time, venue, ticket price, pay-per-view cost, and undercard details.
