The youngest undisputed champion in boxing’s history, Gabriela Fundora, is now all set for her first undisputed title defense at flyweight against Marilyn Badillo. Headlining an event for the first time in her career, the Sweet Poison’s opponent is the No.1 ranked contender on the IBF rankings. Making the bout even tougher is the fact that her opponent is undefeated with 19 wins, four more than her. So, in no way is her first undisputed title defense an easy prospect.

What time will the Gabriela Fundora vs. Marilyn Badillo fight start? Date and venue

Fundora and Badillo will lock horns on Saturday, April 19th, at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California. The venue has a seating capacity of 7,500. As we’ve already said, it is going to be Fundora’s first title defense for her undisputed status after defeating Gabriela Celeste Alaniz by TKO in the 7th round in November of last year. Five months later, Gabriela Fundora is looking to make her mark as one of the biggest female boxers of her generation by going up against 25-year-old Marilyn Badillo Amaya.

The event starts at 9:00 pm ET / 6:00 pm PT. The first few hours will be taken up by the undercard fights before the two female boxing stars make their grand entrance. Ringwalks for the Fundora-Badillo main event are expected to commence at 2:00 am ET / 11:00 am PT.
