It’s Ryan Garcia fight week, and after months of teasing, trolling, and social media antics, the day has finally come to translate his trash-talk into action. Can he do it against Devin Haney? The fans will have their answer this Saturday evening. But the stakes have lowered as ‘KingRy’ failed to make the weight, so ‘The Dream’s WBC super lightweight strap won’t be on the line.

But that doesn’t mean the event has lost its charm. Both have racked up three wins in their previous encounters during their amateur days, and it will lay their rivalry to rest. Scroll down to know more of the details if you have planned to watch the action unfold this weekend. So when do the star super lightweight boxers exchange punches inside the square circle?

It’s April 20, and the action takes place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The iconic stadium has hosted the likes of Deontay Wilder and Gervonta Davis in the past, with ‘Tank’ selling out the arena, breaking the live gate record, when he clashed with Rolando Romero here in 2022.

Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia: Undercard details—what else is at stake?

Arnold Barboza Jr.’s fight with Sean McComb will be the supporting act as they fight it out for the WBO’s Inter-Continental super lightweight title. Barboza, at 29-0 with 11 KOs, is already the WBO mandatory but is trying to stay active to keep a stronghold of his mandatory status.

Meanwhile, for McComb, at 18-1, this is an incredible opportunity to make the jump in the rankings.

Then you have Bektemir Melikuziev vs. Pierre Dibombe, which might be the hardest fight to call. The WBA Intercontinental super middleweight belt will be up for grabs when both meet on the undercard. A rise in the ranks is guaranteed to the victor.

You have another electric fight in John “Scrappy” Ramirez going up against David Jimenez with the vacant WBA interim super flyweight title as the prize. Ramirez, at 13-0 with 9 KO, is inching closer to a showdown against Kazuto Ioka, and a win will ensure a date against him or whoever is sitting as the champion on the throne.
