Claressa Shields has been fighting consistently since making her debut in 2016 and is looking to become undisputed in her third division after the junior middleweight and middleweight divisions. On the other hand, despite staying undefeated, Perkins has only fought in five bouts in her career.

Apparently, the Brooklyn native has been struggling to find opponents. “No one has even wanted to fight me. I have only had five professional fights because no one wants to step in the ring with me. It’s unfortunate because I’ve got some skills,” something which Shields also agrees with.
