Two-time welterweight champion Keith Thurman is back and ready for some good ol’ action. And guess what? He is expecting a fat paycheck for his dance in the squared circle. However, he is not alone in this endeavor. His Aussie opponent Brock Jarvis is also in the mix and ready to cash out big time after their fight at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, Australia. 

Did you know? The upcoming bout will mark Thurman’s first fight since defeating Mario Barrios in 2022. Yep, he has been out of the sport for that long. However, he was supposed to make his comeback in March against Tim Tszyu last year. Why didn’t it happen? Well, you see, Thurman had torn his bicep and had to sit out the fight. But not this time, which brings us to the question: how much is he making?

Several reports suggest ‘One Time’ made a whopping $1.4 million for the fight. The thing is, he wanted to make money like Floyd Mayweather, so he had to take fights like ‘Money’ as well. Next opponent? Danny Garcia! For this one, the now 36-year-old banked an impressive $2 million in purse alone.

His paychecks were steadily climbing, but when he fought Josesito López, my man Thurman had to settle for less. How less? Thurman fought Lopez in January 2019 and made $600,000—a sharp decline, wouldn’t you say? This didn’t continue for long, though. Thurman then set his sights on a bout against living boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.

By now, everyone knows what happened next. Boxing’s only eight-division champion handed Thurman his first career loss in a close fight. However, Thurman walked away with $2.5 million in purse, and since it was a big event, the pay-per-view check must have been big too. Now, coming to Thurman’s upcoming fight against Jarvis—unfortunately, details about Thurman’s purse are not available.

While it’s unclear how much money the 27-year-old was making before his fight against Thurman, new reports reveal Jarvis is a happy camper because of his latest paycheck. So, how much will he make? According to a report from CODE Sports, the Marrickville, New South Wales resident will go home with a big smile and $10 million in the bank.
