Joshua recently took part in DAZN Boxing Show’s punching machine challenge. This was when he had a go at the machine with a brutal left hook. And he was even able to rake up an impressive score of 965. But this fell short of ‘The Gypsy King‘s record of 993.
It should also be mentioned that the machine that Fury used might have been calibrated differently. Joshua, on the other hand, was surprised by the score. Talking about the same, he said, “I can’t believe it’s not gone to 999.”

Similarly, user @z388z also felt that Fury ‘owned’ Joshua.
We boxing lovers would like him to trade that sort of punches with Tyson Fury. Why is he silent? We urgently want to hear from the man himself if he losts interest of fighting for the BEC belt and why.
— Willem De Wee (@WillemDeWee1) October 8, 2022
In the same vein, user @WillamDeWee1 on the other hand mentioned that boxing fans rather wished to see him fight Fury.
These things are pointless I’ve deadass seen my mate hit 999 on one of these before and he’s just some fat man from Newcastle

Can/do they not calibrate these differently for pro’s? My brother regularly hits over 900 on these when out and he’s just an average built guy with bit of beef on him.
— Lufc1982 (@Lufc19821) October 7, 2022
Meanwhile, a few users were doubtful if the punch machines were calibrated differently for professional boxers. And user @Lufc19821 mentioned that his brother regularly hits over 900.
Imagine been on the receiving end of that that’s why usyk is just on another level a man as big as Aj in front of him and his size and power didn’t phase him at all just danced around him pure class.

Packing power like that if he gets his mindset and confidence up he could beat anyone. I would really like to see him with Johnathan Banks and Wlad. Wlad came bk when ppl thought he was done to dominate a decade. Would be a good team.

That's it. As an honest diehard Fury meatrider, it pains me to say AJ would demolish him in 3 rounds.
— LarryLEGEND (@goat_pierce) October 7, 2022
However, a few users were all praise for Joshua’s punching power. User @goat_pierce was sure that Joshua would demolish Fury in 3 rounds.
