In a detailed video explanation, ShowBizz laid out his reasoning for this new take. “I know how Bud Crawford beats Canelo Alvarez,” ShowBizz began. He continued, “Canelo Alvarez isn’t effective and he gets tired when he’s boxing going backward.” The reason behind his conclusion? The fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Dmitry Bivol.

In both fights, Canelo struggled to remain active toward the end as a result of fighting backward. Still, a point of contention remains. How will a smaller Terence Crawford manage to keep Canelo Alvarez on the back? Floyd Mayweather had the answer.
