Can a 58-year-old Tyson really take down the young and fiery Jake Paul in the ring?

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson is upon us. The fight has split the boxing world in two since its announcement and continues to do the same. Opinion continues to diverge further as the date draws near, and some ardent believers are there on both sides. One of them is popular boxing commentator ShowBizz The Adult, who has gone to the extent of splashing $12000 on a bet on the fight’s result.

Paul, 27, and Tyson, 58, will fight it out on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, as they put their professional record on the line. So there is enough buzz and traction, which is only enhanced by the likes of ShowBizz The Adult, who are putting their money on the line for the event. The YouTuber turned to his Instagram handle and shared a clip of him placing a bet on the former world champion.

He said, “This is the craziest bet I’ve ever done. The max bet is $12,000… Let me think. Let me think. Dog, you know what? You live life once. And I’m part of the show. I’m gonna be there next week. I’m part of the show.”

ShowBizz The Adult continued and pointed out the payout he would receive as an outcome of his bet. He added, “I call myself a fan. I say, Mike’s gonna win. Then put my money where my mouth is. I said, Imma do this shit. I say, Hello, Mike, you better win this fight. You better win this. I bet $12,000 on Mike. $12,500 to win $26,000. Mike, you win this fight, man. You win it.”

Therefore, his payout of $26,000 hinges on Tyson, at 50-6, turning back the clock and handing a defeat to ‘Problem Child’. There are concerns about his health and body holding up. In addition, the two-time world champion’s recent struggles, including his ulcer flare-up, have put his fans on alert. But if his heyday opponents are to be believed, Tyson would add a win to his record column.

Lennox Lewis, in a recent conversation with Sky Sports, revealed that he thought Paul, at 10-1, was going to be in trouble. He said, “I was thinking that Jake Paul was going to be in trouble. Because Mike Tyson knows how to throw great body punches, great headshots. We just have to see if he’s going to do them in the ring—I’m hoping that he’ll do that.”

Roy Jones Jr. also expected a similar result in the coming fight. However, he laid out a condition for it—Tyson being in shape. He announced, “If Mike is in shape enough to go the rounds, he probably can put Jake out at any time.” He also detailed that Tyson’s timing wasn’t the same. Hence, he advised the Brooklyn native to take out Paul early in the fight. But, on the other hand, many have picked up Paul because of his youth and activity.
