Isaac Cruz, despite moving up from the 135-pound division, has been established as the odds-on favorite with handicappers. Cruz currently holds more than 2-1 edge over the defending WBA super lightweight champion, Rolly Romero. Their anticipated clash is set to unfold over 12 rounds in the 140-pound title fight on March 30 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Moreover, Jamaine Ortiz also thinks along the same lines, as he has also chosen Cruz over Romero. However, he has also mentioned that he doesn’t care much about the fighter. As of right now, he cares more about his rival Teofimo Lopez, but still puts out his predictions for the Cruz-Romero fight.

In an interview with FightHype.com, the reporter asked Ortiz about his thoughts on the highly anticipated bout in the Tim Tszyu vs. Keith Thurman undercard. Both fighters, Cruz and Romero, have significantly given trouble to Gervonta Davis, however, ‘Pitbull’ Cruz holds the mantle of giving Davis the toughest fight of his career.

Maybe that’s the reason behind the people opting for Cruz as the winner in the bout. Even Jamaine Ortiz said, “I think I got Pitbull winning.” After this, the reporter asked him how he looks at the fight ending. So, Ortiz instantly replied, “I don’t know, to me, they both suck so I don’t care.

Well, in a couple of days, Ortiz is going to square up against Teofimo Lopez, so currently, he’s more concerned with that. Since he’s vowed to knock out Lopez in the upcoming matchup, he is not much interested in any other fight that might happen.

Ortiz, recalling Teofimo’s previous comments, expresses his determination to put the brash champion in his place. He also remembers the time when he was about to fight Vasyl Lomachenko and Lopez had stated that he wouldn’t be able to last four rounds against him. So, now when asked about his predictions for his fight, he said, “Knockout. I got more dog than him. I’m going to show that. I’m a real dog.
