Future legends are born every day in the sport of boxing! And Jai Opetaia might just have found one of them. Last night, Australia’s Max McIntyre took on fellow countryman Amaeze Enyi in a four-round fight. However, it’s safe to say that the fight didn’t go the distance. ‘Money’ McIntyre stopped the fellow boxing prospect in the second round with one of the most brutal KOs.
McIntyre (3-0) and Enyi (0-2) appeared last night in the undercard of Conor Wallace vs. Jack Gipp held in Fortitude Music Hall, Fortitude Valley. While the main card was the star of the night in every way possible, McIntyre’s spectacular performance successfully stole the limelight for a while.

Turning to X, several people shared the clip in question, where McIntyre can be seen delivering the knockout, followed by his celebrations inside the ring. He is coming off of two straight wins. One win against Tangiariki Mauri through a unanimous decision in December last year. The other was against Alexander Bajawa, which produced an identical result to last night’s fight.

Meanwhile, an X user shared the clip in question with the caption reading, “Max “Money” McIntyre deletes Amaeze Enyi in the second round with a single right hand. This has domestic KO of The Year written all over it…” It caught Jai Opetaia’s eye when he and the boxing world decided to express their thoughts on the knockout.
Talent in Australia starts gaining recognition
Despite McIntyre’s lack of fame, soon after the clip went live on the social media platform, it started to gather heaps of views and praise from the boxing world. Jai Opetaia, who is also from Australia, praised his fellow countryman with a single word that vividly conveyed his excitement.
Boooooom

Someone else agreed that McIntyre’s performance was exceptional but wants to see how the 19-year-old evolves against better and stronger opponents.
Yes, but will be interesting to see how Max develops as a pro against better opposition. Bit of a shell D going on.
