The feud between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford is prolonged and uncommon. But, the rivalry between the two reached another level as Spence fired shots at both Crawford and his promoter Bob Arum.

Recently, the Top Rank CEO was in a chat alongside The 3 Knockdown Rule, when he detailed his point on why the Spence vs Crawford fight isn’t reaching the squared circle.

I talked to Al Haymon, he’s amenable to the fight. Spence is the obstacle. Spence throws out numbers and percentages. We believe Crawford will beat him, unfortunately, Spence believes the same. Don’t blame Haymon, blame Spence.” said Arum.

Michael Benson, an editor at talkSport, tweeted this statement by Arum which later caught Spence’s eye. The welterweight champion then fired shots at Arum. He wrote, “lien a** bob strikes again.”

Arum accused ‘The Truth’ of dodging the epic encounter with his undefeated boxer, Terence Crawford. The Top Rank supremo even tried getting in touch with Al Haymon, Spence Jr.’s manager, who was responsive enough to stage this fight. But the big-wig promoter feels it’s not Spence Jr.’s manager who’s being an obstacle, instead it is the boxer himself.

Bob Arum is confident that Crawford will dispatch him, and therefore Spence Jr. is avoiding this fight as much as he can.

‘The Truth’ was in an attack mode on Twitter and didn’t spare Arum for his comments. He even took shots at the long-time foe, Terence Crawford.

Crawford reaffirmed he is a long-time champion in the sport, and if he was to retire now, he’d aim for the Hall of Fame rather than any other opponent.

Spence then reverted in his own eccentric way, and said, “All those accomplishments with names people won’t remember.”
