Internet blogger LargeBarstool dared step inside the ring with the super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez. In a video tweeted by DAZN Boxing, titled POV: You’re @Canelo’s punch bag, Barstool observes some of Alvarez’s body shots.
Barstool seizes himself in a corner wearing a protective belly pad during one of Alvarez’s training sessions. Following that, Alvarez measures him and throws him a few but significant right hands. Some light jabs to the body, followed by some hard shovel hooks.
Large grunts as Alvarez lands his first power punch to his target’s ribs. With this first powerful land, Alvarez rattles and simultaneously pokes Large’s attention. While Large recovers from the shock, Canelo hums another in. With this, the bout comes to an end as Barstool refuses to continue for more. He is heard saying, “Hold on a second, I haven’t cried in fu**ing years.”

Large made a terrifying wish while the session was still going on. “I want to piss some blood,” he yelled, provoking Alvarez. Canelo Alvarez, being the hard-hitter that he is, took care of Large with ease.
Following this encounter with Alvarez, Large later tweeted a picture that reveals that he actually urinated blood. He mentions Canelo Alvarez in his tweet and writes him a ‘thanks’.

The ferocity of the Mexican power puncher, Alvarez
Alvarez has 39 knockout victories in his professional career. With that said, there is no doubt about the amount of weight Alvarez throws as he strikes.
In addition, Canelo Alvarez had a super active 2021. He fought back-to-back and that too against the likes of Avni Yildirim, Billy Joe Saunders, and Caleb Plant. As a result, he is now the first undisputed, unified super middleweight champion of the world.
With only a month ahead of his bout against Dmitry Bivol on May 7th, Alvarez looks damn impressive. The Twitter video gives enough insight into Canelo Alvarez’s fitness and his boxing. The fact that he lands such effective body hooks standing such close to LargeBarstool exhibits precision.
