Billionaire Floyd Mayweather Celebrates Halloween by Gifting $50,000 Shoes at Kids Charity Event

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has become notorious for spending copious sums of money on lavish things. However, what is relatively unknown about the former 5-division champ is his philanthropy and charitable ventures. Being the richest boxer in the world, Mayweather has found ways to give back to his community.

Moreover, he did just that after donating $50,000 and providing shoes for young kids. The YouTube channel Cool kicks recently made a video where they announced that Mayweather has offered them $50,000 to clear out 40 shoes and give them to the kids of the local community. ” today we got a special video Floyd Money Mayweather. He said he wants to buy 40 shoes and give back to some of the kids.” said Adeel Shams, the founder of Cool kicks.

Moreover, it was later revealed that the shoes would be distributed in a Halloween event at Crenshaw High School. Shams stated that the event will be under the guise of a normal Halloween trick-or-treat. However, the kids would be surprised as shoes will be offered to everyone. “There’s an event this evening. It’s called Trunk Retreat. So the Crenshaw Cougars at Crenshaw High School this evening at six o’clock after practice they’re gonna have truck and treat where all the kids come to different trucks in their cars and grab some candy. But the surprise they don’t know is coming is we’re hooking them all up with brand-new kicks. You know they could feel good, be positive and have something nice to flex.” He added.

Despite Mayweather’s brash and spendthrift attitude towards money, he has never been one to walk away from charitable events like these and always finds ways to give back some of his wealth.

Floyd Mayweather set to make his own documentary mimicking Michael Jordan’s ‘Last Dance’

In an interview with TMZ, ‘Money’ revealed his desire to make his own documentary following a similar pattern to Michael Jordan’s acclaimed documentary ‘The Last Dance’. “I just feel the world should see a different part of Floyd Mayweather. I think the people should see a different part of me. want to be able to tell my story in my way. The good, the bad, the ugly. I don’t want the people to think I take certain pieces out and it’s all glory.” He said.

The docuseries will follow him from his time as a kid in New Jersey to becoming one of the most famous and successful athletes of all time, including all the challenges in between.
