As per Mayweather, a fighter needs the right school to realize his/her complete potential in the sport. In the said video, Floyd Mayweather even assured his followers that they were not doing what other trainers or fighters did. Instead, he demonstrated how closely they paid attention to the basics and developed methods to fight from both the outside and inside.

Repeatedly, Mayweather called his trainer GT the best trainer in the world. According to him, GT has produced great fighters worldwide and is a trainer to be in touch with. “You should come to the right school, get your man right here – one of the best trainers,” said Floyd Mayweather promoting both GT and their boxing gym.

With his trainer GT, Mayweather demonstrated how fighters often would not turn their hands while engaging with the pads from the inside. “On your pads, your hands should turn,” said Mayweather. In addition, in a live demonstration with GT, he exhibited how one could fight from the outside. Praising GT and his boxing techniques, Mayweather said, “We do not what other trainers do, we do not what other fighters do. He is one of the best. He comes from the midwest. But he’s got great fighters all over the world. Not just combinations but we gotta show people that we can also box from the outside.”
