Former MMA champion Ben Askren has been in the headlines for the past couple of months, thanks to his highly criticized bout against Jake Paul. And the outspoken fighter hasn’t shied away from making a controversial comment or two. This has only added to the drama surrounding his fight.

Ahead of his bout against Jake Paul, ‘Funky’ Askren has made a shocking revelation about the older brother, Logan Paul. He claimed Logan Paul and his team all but forced him to give the 25-year-old internet sensation a chance against Floyd Mayweather.

Askren spoke ‘The Mayweather Channel’ on YouTube and revealed his experience of being on Logan Paul’s show. He said,

“So I was on Logan’s show. And he’s allegedly boxing Floyd. And he said, ‘Do I got one percent chance?’ I said, ‘No, you don’t have a one percent chance.’ And he said, ‘Do I got a puncher’s chance?’ I said, ‘How many times has Floyd been knocked out? No, I don’t think you’ve got a puncher’s chance. I think you got zero chance.’”

‘Funky’ then claimed they compelled him to admit that Paul has at least a one percent chance. “And they just kept yelling at me, yelling at me, until I finally said, ‘okay fine, you have a one percent chance,” said Askren.

Logan Paul may be the bigger and heavier fighter. However, Floyd Mayweather was arguably one of the best at handling bigger fighters. Moreover, the vast difference in experience makes it an impossible task for ‘The Maverick’.

In addition, the pair are fighting in a boxing match. And boxing has been Mayweather’s everyday life since he was a young boy. If they were entering the octagon, maybe Paul would have had a better chance. However, like the vast majority, Askren doesn’t believe ‘Maverick’ Logan Paul can beat Mayweather.
