The day of the bout is finally here, the moment both boxing and MMA fans have been looking forward to is finally at hand. Today Nate Diaz and Jake Paul will be going at each other in their 10 rounds crossover bout. This bout will undoubtedly be a challenge for both fighters.

When it comes to Paul, his previous bouts have all been eight-rounders. Meanwhile, Diaz has only done 5 rounds 5 minutes long each, which means 25 minutes is the maximum distance he went so far. However, KSI’s former trainer believes that the fight won’t even go on for that long.

Recently, KSI’s former trainer, Viddal Riley posted a video on YouTube titled- “Why Nate Diaz WILL NOT Beat Jake Paul”. In the video, he explained his stance on the upcoming matchup. He claimed that he cannot see the fight going the distance. He added, “I think it’ll be done within four rounds. I think Jake will start quite slow as try and get a look at him, read him and stuff, but I don’t know if Nate has the ability as a fighter to keep that sharpness off him.”

Moreover, he added that the Stockton native is not a “young fighter” anywhere. Though he acknowledged Diaz’s “contribution to the game, his personality, the rivalries he’s been in, obviously his skill as well, he’s got good boxing for an MMA fighter.” However, he believes, “for a boxing match, I don’t know if he’s generating enough power in the punches, cuz he likes to slap a lot.” Riley believes that Paul’s youth will catch up to Diaz’s experience and only time will tell how the fight concludes. The fight will be available to watch on pay-per-view here.
