Gerald McClellan is a former professional boxer who competed in the sport for a good span of 7 years. And in that time frame, he became the Middleweight World Champion twice, as he held the WBC championship belt once from 1991-1992, then he again held it from 1993 to 1995. His reign came to an end in 1995 against the WBC Super-Middleweight, Nigel Benn. And this fight also turned out to be the last fight of his career, as he suffered a severe injury from this fight, which forced him to take off his gloves permanently.
But before this loss, he never showed any remorse in defeating his opponents by a knockout. In fact, an old interview of McClellan has resurfaced on the internet where he can be seen talking about what he felt when he used to knock his opponents down. He even compared it with the next best thing that he considers besides knocking other fighters out.
