Mike Winkelmann, better known as ‘Beeple’, has made quite a few waves in the art world since the sudden boom in the digital art pieces known as NFTs or Non-Fungible Tokens. The digital artist’s success can be attributed to the boom in the NTF market endorsed by celebrities like Logan Paul, Jimmy Fallon, and Eminem. Moreover, the NFT transactions were estimated to be worth over $400 million in 2021.

The digital artist is said to be one of the pioneers of NFTs and came into the limelight after selling his artwork named ‘Everydays: The First 5,000 Days’ for a record $69.3 million, making it the most expensive NFT.

Beeple reveals reason for bizarre Logan Paul NFT

Beeple recently made an appearance in an episode of the Impaulsive podcast, hosted by Logan Paul where the YouTube star confronts Beeple for his bizarre picture of him.

He says, “You know he made a piece of me a while ago, I don’t know if you remember this, but it was me breastfeeding the baby version of myself .” Co-host Mike Majaik was not able to contain his laughter after this and said “ I remember that and we all thought it was so great except you, well you thought it was great too.

Beeple then asks Paul if he was hurt by the picture to which Paul responds by saying, “I wasn’t hurt. I think I was just confused, and it had like the Maverick Logo stamped on my forehead

In the end, Beeple revealed the reason he made this picture, “So I released a video of Marshmello like walking through the woods with like weird marshmallows like a naked body covered in this like black goo with him carrying these goats and you commented ‘no’ and then I was like that Motherf****r and then the next day or that day I did that picture of you.”

It seems Beeple did not like Paul’s reaction to his video and decided to take revenge. Moreover, Paul finally knows the reason Beeple made this picture.

Logan Paul’s NFT projects

Logan Paul has been a part of the NFT hype since its origins and has launched and bought various NFT artworks. His latest project is the ’99 Originals‘, In which the YouTube star will put out ‘A collection of 99 original polaroids taken over the course of 99 days.

The collection started dropping on 9th May, which included a polaroid picture of Beeple standing beside his HUMAN_ONE NFT, the artwork was then sold for almost $30 million and the picture taken by Paul also garnered $60000. Paul seems to consider this project very close to his heart and has referred to it as his ‘artistic journey’.
