Ryan Garcia, the former WBC interim Lightweight champion, and the three-weight class world champ Gervonta Davis will settle their ongoing beef when they will finally meet on April 22 in T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas following the contractual drama that several times signaled that the fight was in jeopardy. But Garcia’s eagerness finally reached fruition. He accepted all demands put forth by his arch-rival, ‘Tank’ Davis.

But following an altercation in the club, this beef came to the surface with more rage which eventually took the shape of a fight. Ahead of this mega showdown when fighting fans are boosting their favorite pugilist for the bout, Garcia’s promoter and former six-division world champ Oscar De La Hoya has made a big speculation.

Sharing his thoughts on the fight, he wrote, “My guy @RyanGarcia will not only shock the world he will make it look easy and begin his legacy. Let’s go!!!”

Interestingly, during the first presser of this fight in New York City, he talked about the requirement of a bat to beat Davis. He said, “Let’s take a bat in there. I would take a bat in there.” As boxing pundits are claiming that this fight is going to be competitive and could go either way, De La Hoya is dubbing it as an easy win for ‘KingRy’. Meanwhile, fans poured mixed reactions to Oscar De La Hoya’s bold claims.

Meanwhile, @VanhookAlan seemed to be a fan of Davis. He gave the edge to Davis in the same manner as De La Hoya favored Garcia.

Another fan named @roockie112 made a hilarious remark. He recalled previous claims made by De La Hoya that turned out to be wrong.

Lastly, a user named Bambam333111 took a dig at the former champ’s statement by saying, “Thanks at least you admitting he doesn’t have any legacy until now.”
