Jermall will put his WBC middleweight title on the line against Sergiy Derevyanchenko on Showtime’s event this weekend. Meanwhile, Jermell will face Jeison Rosario for the WBC, WBA, and IBF super welter titles on the same card.

Before the doubleheader event, the Charlo twins have opened up about their plans and how they want to be recognized by the boxing fans.

Jermall Charlo and Jermell Charlo aims to be bigger than the Klitschkos

The twins have come up a long way from their roots and are already the A-listers. However, they want to end their career as legends. That said, Vitali Klitschko and Wladimir Klitschko are their idols.

In an interaction on ALL THE SMOKE podcast, the Charlo twins revealed that they want to be the world champions in the same weight class again. If it happens, they will make history. If not, Jermall and Jermell will still want to end their pro careers on a high note.

Talking about it, Jermell Charlo said, “I mean, as big as the Klitschkos or bigger. We want to be champions together in the same weight division again if that’s possible. We just want to be legends, you know? — Where people follow our platforms and they recognize. Like every time they see, they are like ‘They are Dawgs.’ ’’

However, will they ever compete against each other? Well, for the timing, no. The Charlo twins have said that they will never go against each other in a professional fight.

That said, Jermall is still undefeated (33-0), while Jermell is just one down, flexing a record of 33-1. If they ever face each other, it will be one of the biggest events in boxing history.
