On the 22nd of April, representing thousands of residents in Baltimore, in one of his biggest matches in pro boxing, Gervonta Davis will lock horns with Ryan Garcia in the ring. Ahead of Davis vs Gracia, ‘Tank’ Davis believes he has carried the whole city on his shoulders and thus touched a thousand souls.
Ever since he started boxing, with his back-to-back achievements in the sport, Davis has constantly contributed to the good name of his city. Now, a number of his fans and fellow residents of Baltimore feel inspired watching Davis. With his latest tweet, the 5′ 5½″ tall southpaw fighter recently touched some of his fans’ hearts.

Fighting out of Baltimore, in 2017 Gervonta Davis by defeating Jose Pedraza became the IBF World Super Featherweight champion in boxing. Soon, he went on to face the likes of Hugo Ruiz, Leo Santa Cruz, and Mario Barrios among others. On the 22nd of April, with the residents of Baltimore watching, in yet another test, ‘Tank’ Davis will face Ryan Garcia inside the boxing ring. Ahead of the fight, Davis, addressing his beloved city wrote, “I probably touched a thousand souls, little me…I done put the whole city on my shoulders..literally!”
