Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol have reigned supreme over the light heavyweight division and have cast their iron will on whoever they have faced. But that wasn’t the case when the two appeared in an amusing conversation, giving a sneak peek into their personal opinions and choices. What’s more? They had something different planned for themselves, if not for the sweet science.
Bivol, 33, and Beterbiev, 39, will fight the historic battle to sit on the undisputed throne of the division at Kingdom Arena, Riyadh on October 12. The fight has gained traction and fame for the high stakes and the mere fact that HE Turki Alalshikh has woven the exciting and mouthwatering card.
But, as an interesting marketing strategy and make the fans aware of two champions, DAZN engaged the two in a hilarious interview. It kick-started with a question the fans had on their mind – Does Beterbiev get upset when someone gets his name wrong?

Beterbiev, at 20-0, akin to his terrifying persona, pointed out how it would have dangerous if the person making the mistake stood near to him. He said, “If it’s close, then it’s a little bit dangerous for them.”
Later, when the host enquired about Bivol’s opinion of boxing’s Mount Rushmore, indicating the biggest faces in boxing, he had four names in mind. He listed, “Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Mike Tyson and Roy Jones [Jr.]. This is my favorite fighters.”
This was not the end of a comical interaction.

Following this, the host asked the two champions about their alternative career paths if they hadn’t picked up the boxing gloves. Interestingly, the unified champion disclosed it was “astronaut,” whereas Bivol, at 23-0, declared, “Buyer and seller of the cars.”
What’s more? When the host quizzed about one factor about Bivol that evokes fear among fans, he pointed towards his personality. He continued, “Fear? They don’t know what [to] expect from me.”
This exchange offered some insights into the light heavyweight champions’ personal life and what it could have been if not for the boxing.
