Also, how can anyone forget the infamous Jermall Charlo slap fiasco? So, when the former IBF super middleweight champion left a cryptic message on X, it perplexed fans beyond belief. 

In a surprising turn of events, the Nashville native took to X and wrote, “As far as you thinking anything beyond that…That ship has sailed…my suggestion is we go our separate ways until you want to sign a contract…Anything beyond that is just wishful thinking on your end. I was trying to tell you that then, but you didn’t want to hear it.” As the post started circulating on the platform, it instantly gained traction, prompting people to question the meaning behind Plant’s tweet.

Since the tweet went live on the platform, it has collected over 100K views, nearly 400 hearts, and a plethora of comments speculating on Plant’s tweet. While some asked Plant to tag the person he was talking about, others started guessing.

Earlier this year, during the Terence Crawford vs. Errol Spence Jr. fight, Caleb Plant trashed Jermall Charlo for disrespecting him. So, fans and pundits alike have been speculating about a potential clash between them. While appearing in a recent interview with DAZN Boxing, Plant expressed his desire to fight Charlo.

“I feel I’m so locked in on that, and that’s what I want,” Plant said about facing Charlo. Plant went on to suggest that he isn’t against the idea of fighting a tune up fight before facing Charlo. “If that’s what it takes, I’m all for that, and then put me back in for a big fight,” Plant told DAZN Boxing.
