It appears that Jake Paul has invited GOP presidential candidate Mr. Vivek Ramaswamy to watch him fight André August. The eight-round cruiserweight bout takes place at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida. Reportedly, ringside viewing arrangements have been made for Mr. Ramaswamy to watch Paul take on August up and close.

Per the report shared by TMZ, a spokesperson for Mr. Vivek Ramaswamy has updated on the 2024 presidential candidate hopefully traveling to Orlando to watch his friend’s third bout of the year. Later, after-fight engagements follow before he flies back to Iowa for planned campaigns. The acquaintance between Mr. Ramaswamy and Paul gained traction as the latter introduced the Indian-origin tech entrepreneur to the social media platform TikTok.

On September 14, Jake Paul released a video of him and Mr. Vivek Ramaswamy. Later, while introducing the GOP presidential candidate, ‘The Problem Child’ said, “Getting Vivek on TikTok because I believe our politicians of the future should connect with Gen Z and millennials on social [media], where we all live and breathe. It’s bizarre that in this day and age, our presidents have no connection with us via social. Only the occasional tweets. Meet @Vivek Ramaswamy.”

Then the two met for a game of tennis as well. Mr. Ramaswamy is known for his love for the racquet sport. He had been a nationally-ranked junior tennis player. Taking to his X/Twitter handle, he wrote, “Facing off with @jakepaul. This time on the tennis court.

According to the TMZ report, during one of the GOP debates, Mr. Ramaswamy explained why entry into social media platforms such as TikTok became so critical to engaging the new generation.

It will be the ninth professional bout of Jake Paul’s career. It’s important that he wins the match. He won the last bout against Nate Diaz unanimously. But the year’s first contest against Tommy Fury ended in disappointment.

The Andre August fight comes amidst talks of an MMA rematch with Diaz. After Thursday’s weigh-ins, he was asked whether his focus would be on boxing or mixed martial arts if Nate Diaz ‘signs the dotted line.’ The Problem Child’ replied, “Yeah know I would do it if Nate Diaz would sign the contract um but he just doesn’t seem to want to actually make the fight happen uh so for now it’s it’s a focus on boxing for 2024.
