Floyd Mayweather Jr. can’t seem to catch a break. The 50-0 boxer attracts trouble, both on and off the squared circle. But this time, he might have picked a probable legal suit straight from a street. So, what happened exactly?
In a clip that went viral recently, the fans could witness ‘Money’ walking on a road along with his bodyguards in what appears to be Miami, Florida, while talking on his phone. But soon a car drives by, and an Instagram influencer and TikToker known as Gucci Diamond attempts to film him from his car.
However, this doesn’t sit well with Floyd Mayweather’s TMT bodyguards, who see it as an invasion of his privacy and immediately jump into action, promptly asking the influencer to stop filming him. As one of the security guards approaches the TikToker, Diamond counters it by asserting his right to record in a public place. But it didn’t end in his favor, as the bodyguard ensured the recording stopped straightaway.

The social media influencer then addressed the situation in another separate clip on his Instagram handle as he blasted the former world champion for considering himself above the law. He said, “Floyd, think you running this sh-t? Think you above the law? Even the policemen can’t even stop us from recording. That’s our right to record anything in public.”

However, his outrage didn’t stop there; the influencer continued to spit harsh words. He even emphasized how he could put Mayweather Jr.’s entourage under lock if he wanted to. He added, “You up here, picking on black people. You always try to pick on black people trying, ’cause you know you are [a] billionaire. So, they take your word over our word in the streets. But a n—-a like me gone put a n—a as* in jail. Yeah boy! Y’ll are threating me? So, whatever, you see me out here, just know it ain’t white boys pulling up… I would put a n—a as* in jail. That’s what I would do. Checkmate.” A few days later, Happy Punch shared the clips on their account. They captioned the post, “TikToker wants to put Floyd Mayweather in jail after his team pressed him for filming 😅.”
However, despite the threat of a legal suit, there has been no legitimate update on the situation from the influencer Gucci Diamond’s side. It simply looks like the TikToker only expressed his anger and frustration over the heavy-handedness of the TMT bodyguards.
