Canelo Alvarez is considered as one of the mightiest boxers in the current era, with him even being one of the best pound-for-pound, the Mexican icon holds a lot of influence in the sport of boxing. Alvarez defeated John Ryder earlier this year and he was supposed to face Dimitry Bivol for a rematch next. However, that fight fell apart, leaving the undisputed champion to look for another apt opponent. Furthermore, David Benavidez has been hounding Alvarez relentlessly, looking for a bout.

‘The Mexican Monster’ has only received disregard from Canelo’s end. Even Benavidez’s reportedly huge $50 million offer didn’t manage to move the champion. They said that the other Charlo was not ready, and that they want [Jermell] Charlo.
