Anxiety Spike as Boxing Legend Shares Worrying Video From Tampa Airport

Air travel can be exhausting and without proper preparation, it can result in health issues too. Earlier this year, legendary heavyweight Mike Tyson became dizzy and nauseous due to an ulcer flare-up during his flight from Miami to Los Angeles.

So, fainting during air travel is rare, but possible. On Sunday, boxing veteran Antonio Tarver shared a video of a man losing consciousness at Tampa Airport in Florida. The concerning video made the fans anxious and everyone started worrying about their loved ones.

Antonio Tarver’s fruitless sojourn

The ‘Magic Man’ shared the clip from the Tampa International Airport baggage claim as paramedics and ambulance made their way into the airport. While the former unified light heavyweight champion did not appear in the video, his voice could be heard narrating the scene. He explained, “They bringing out a body. Somebody passed out in the baggage claim. They might bring him out on a stretcher.”

However, even the Orlando native was not completely sure of the situation and stated, “I don’t know if he was responsive or not.” Since the incident wasn’t covered by major news outlets, Tarver took it upon himself to inform fans and urged them to “check on your people” stuck at the Tampa airport.

The situation looked under control though as Antonio Tarver walked past the baggage claim, showing several paramedics on the scene. The 56-year-old then let the fans know that he is “Back to the grind.” He was in Houston with his family for the holidays. However, he was not able to meet his kids, who were busy with their lives. “I hate my kids weren’t there man. Taylor just got from Toronto, June got his kids. But I enjoy my family man. Straight blessing,” Tarver revealed.

The 31-6-1 boxer then proceeded to warn the boxing world about his nephew, Marion Jameson. Tarver met his nephew during his holiday and even had a training session with him. It looks like Jameson has impressed the former world champion. “Nephew gonna be a problem. You heard it here first. I told you all he is gonna be a straight problem. He got that Tarver energy,” stated the proud uncle, predicting his nephew to be a big name in the sport in the coming days.

However, the video uploaded by Antonio Tarver hooked the fans, especially those who had their loved ones at Tampa airport at the time.

One fan expressed their concern in the comments section of the Instagram post. “🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾,” noted the fan, praying and hoping for the unconscious man to be fine. With the way the paramedics were swiftly working, it looked like there was nothing to worry about. However, we might get an official confirmation from Tampa Airport once things calm down.

Another fan wrote, “I was looking to see if I see my wife @stinaswan8 on the video,” stating how his wife was also at the Tampa Airport. He wanted to closely examine the clip for reassurance.

One user, unsure about the situation, wrote, “🙏🙏🙏 what happened hope everything is ok 😭,” hoping that nothing serious happened. It is not clear what led to the man losing consciousness. Judging by the video uploaded by Antonio Tarver, the paramedics were swift and had everything under control.

While this man got the care he deserved, another person was not that lucky. The fan revealed, “Not a good place to pass out! I passed out boarding a flight there last month, and they literally wheeled me out to the curb and left me!” stating how badly they were treated by the authorities when they passed out.

Another user had different ideas as to what led to the man losing his consciousness. He wrote, “Somebody done got full🍻🥂 on the flight..😁,” stating that the man might have consumed alcohol on the flight. While that can be a possibility, it remains unlikely that an airline would serve that much alcohol without consideration.

Although the cause of the incident remains unclear, Antonio Tarver’s video served as a reminder to stay vigilant and prioritize health during travel. By sharing the clip, he prompted fans to check on their loved ones and raise awareness about such incidents.
