Anthony Joshua is all set for the biggest fight of his career against Tyson Fury. The Englishman goes into the bout as an underdog with many expecting ‘The Gypsy King’ to ease past him. However, ‘AJ’ might have the experience and professionalism of Floyd Mayweather going into the bout.

The Londoner has promised to do everything he can to beat ‘The Gypsy King’. And although they do not have a date for their fight, the update regarding the venue shows that the contest is closer than ever. Joshua has now spoken about the potential of possibly having ‘Money Mayweather’ in his camp.

The 24-1 boxer had a conversation with ‘Pep Talk UK’ and spoke about having Mayweather in his camp. “Great man, someone like that, with his boxing brain… you need to be around fighters as a boxer. Footballers need to be around footballers, boxers need to be around boxers. Lions stay around lions,” said Joshua.

With this comment, the unified heavyweight champion showed he knows the value of having that caliber champion in camp. ‘AJ’ then confirmed, “Mayweather’s more than welcome.”

This comes as a result of the former multi-weight champion offering to join the Englishman to train him to beat Fury. This would be a massive boost for Joshua if it happened.
