This year, there’ll be some high-voltage boxing bouts between the biggest of stars. Among all, a rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk tops the charts for obvious reasons. Last year, the two men squared off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, wherein Usyk edged over the big man to pull off an upset.
Since then, the only thing Joshua cared about was a rematch with his Ukrainian rival. Until now, there’s no set date for this clash, but ‘AJ’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, is on a hunt for an ideal location for this cracking rematch.
Recently, the Matchroom boss even went to Burj Al Arab’s helipad, in the UAE. Also, it was last week when he revealed he had meetings aligned to discuss potential site deals for Joshua vs Usyk 2 in May.
