However, the decision to show the fight as part of the regular DAZN subscription plan has been met with mixed reactions from fans. People have expressed their dissatisfaction with the streaming service after the monthly subscription prices hiked up.
Fans are angry over DAZN subscription prices
Fans were initially ecstatic that they will be able to watch the fight comparatively cheaply. But soon they felt betrayed after witnessing the high ticket prices. They were in dismay and full of anger after finding out that the monthly subscription price has increased from £7.99 to £19.99. Previously, the fans were outraged when the PPV prices were revealed for KSI vs FaZe Temper match.
Fans took to Twitter to express their discontent. The tweet by Micheal Benson received furious comments from people looking to vent their frustration. One fan pointed out that, there isn’t much difference in the cost of a monthly subscription and that of PPVs.
And just like that they are now charging £20.00 a month for subscription, which is only a fraction less than most PPVs anyway

Another fan claimed that he would rather watch paint dry than watch the ‘contest’.

Another fan also had his suspicion regarding watching the bout after paying the monthly subscription plan.
Have subscribed many times but not enough content to keep 4 or 5 weeks with no uk fights, real ones, to justify paying. 8 or so weeks since last decent fight.

Many fans shared their mutual frustration as the price of the subscription got jacked up. A fan even pointed out with astonishment the fact that in just 4 years the price went up from £1.99 to £19.99.
At £19.99 a price increase from £7.99pm. So no not really.
£1.99-£19.99 in 4 years.

One fan wrote that given the popular opinion if the fight were to be shown on PPV, the event would definitely flop.
PPV would flop on this fight
