He will need to be at his best as he faces a boxer who has emerged as the best of the contenders to challenge him for his belts.

Anthony Joshua wants to box against the best

The unified champion welcomed all challengers and proved that he has boxed against and beaten the best. He said, “I like to box against the best. Pulev is a world title challenger as well. I’ve boxed five champions, I’ve beaten five champions now.”

These include wins over the likes of Carlos Takam, Joseph Parker, Wladimir Klitschko, Andy Ruiz Jr, and Alexander Povetkin. Should Joshua trump Pulev, he will come up against yet another champion.

He said, “Pulev is another tough challenge which leads me to another challenge which is a champion. God willing, I get my hands on Tyson Fury/WBC belt. So I just loving it, I can’t wait. It’s what I live for. It’s my passion. I feel this is my calling.”
